Michelle Yeoh Named as Guerlain's New Celebrity Ambassador
The French cosmetics company chose the Hong Kong-based Chinese Malaysian actress in order to tap into the Asian market.

Michelle Yeoh has been named Guerlain's newest ambassador. Guerlain is a French cosmetics company that sells perfumes, make-up, and skincare. The company originated as a perfume house. Yeoh will play a role in strengthening the French cosmetics company's relationship with Asia. According to Racked.com, she is set to represent Guerlain's Orchidée Impériale skin care line.
Internationally, Yeoh is known for playing Bond Girl Wai Lin in Tomorrow Never Dies, as well as starring in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Memoirs of a Geisha. She is a Chinese actress who was born in Malaysia and is currently based in Hong Kong. She is currently promoting her most recent project, the Luc Besson-directed biopic The Lady, which is making its way around the international film festival circuit and is scheduled for release later this year. Yeoh plays pro-democracy activist Aung San Suu Kyi.
