On January 20, the English-dubbed version of Gantz will play on the big screen in select theatres all over the country. The live action adaptation of the original manga stars Matsuyama Kenichi (Death Note, Detroit Metal City) and Arashi member Ninomiya Kazunari (Letters from Iwo Jima). The film follows two young men who die in a train accident but are somehow transported into another world, where they encounter a mysterious black orb known as Gantz.
After the Los Angeles screening at the Mann's Chinese 6 theatre, Otaku USA Editor-in-Chief Patrick Macias will lead an in-person discussion and interview with male leads Matsuyama Kenichi and Ninomiya Kazunari. Audiences around the country attending these one-night screenings will be able to view video footage of this exclusive interview.
